We have noticed a significant increase in customers (and their lodging agents) sending their documents to us by hard copy post. Mailing documents by post or sending them by email is not an approved method of lodgment.
In line with NSW Government health advice our processing staff are currently working from home. Sending documents by post will mean there may be a significant delay in your documents being lodged and assessed. In addition, as noted in the Registrar General Guidelines, priority cannot be guaranteed with postal lodgement.
The only documents that may be lodged by post are those that relate to Water Access Licenses. You may also produce original Certificates of Titles by sending them in the post.
There are online channels available for all other documents. A full list of online submission methods can be found here:
https://www.nswlrs.com.au/About/About/Announcements/151 and we are happy answer any questions customers may have.
NSW LRS would like to thank customers for their support during this difficult period to help keep everyone safe. We appreciate that most customers have made the quick and easy transition to online enquiries, submissions, lodgment and payments.
