GRESB is an international benchmark for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance in real estate and infrastructure investments.
NSW LRS Chief Executive Officer, Adam Bennett, said: “Our NSW LRS team is proud to be delivering on projects that provide strong environmental, governance, health, wellbeing and diversity outcomes for our staff, customers and the NSW community.
“To be recognised by an international benchmark such as GRESB for social initiatives such as free access to land and property information after NSW flooding, assisting customers with online lodgement options during Covid-19, supporting community partners to address disadvantage and homelessness, engaging with our staff on their wellbeing, combined with strong focus on governance and environmental performance reporting have all contributed to our 2021 GRESB score,” Bennett said.
The NSW LRS Environmental, Social and Governance program guides the organisation to operate sustainably and responsibly for our customers, stakeholders, employees, investors, the environment and our community.
In 2021 NSW LRS placed first in its specialised industry class (Data Infrastructure) and 26
th out of 549 global organisations, with a score of 95 of a possible 100.
