Brett joins the organisation from the CEO role at City of Parramatta, bringing a wealth of property industry experience across both the private and Government sectors.
His appointment follows the announced departure of CEO Adam Bennett, who has worked with NSW LRS since 2018.
Chairman of the Australian Registry Investments Board, Andrew Dutton, said:

We would like to recognise the outstanding contribution our departing CEO, Adam Bennett, has made to the people, operations and transformation of our organisation since joining in 2018. Adam has successfully overseen significant digital transformation initiatives that improve customer and industry experience in NSW. Initiatives including the delivery of 100% eConveyancing, increasing customer satisfaction from 51% to 77%, and making the registry more reliable and safer. He also led the ratification of our first Reconciliation Action Plan.”
Brett Newman will join NSW LRS as CEO in November 2022.
