NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS) has worked in partnership with its employees and stakeholders to achieve a GRESB five-star rating, placing NSW Land Registry Services 55th out of 649 global infrastructure organisations in 2022.
GRESB is an international benchmark for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) management and performance in real estate and infrastructure investments.
The NSW LRS team has proudly delivered projects that improve performance in respect to environmental, governance, wellbeing and diversity commitments for our staff, customers and the broader NSW community.
2022 projects include:
- Implementing our Net Zero Business Plan, establishing clear trajectories toward net zero greenhouse gas emissions
- Modelling of climate scenarios, which analyse the potential impacts of climate change on our organisation
- Formalising our commitment to national reconciliation with our first Reconciliation Action Plan (Reflect Stage), which achieved endorsement from Reconciliation Australia
- Supporting our partners at Homes for Homes to end homelessness in Australia
- Increasing our Paid Parental Leave provisions for new parents at NSW LRS
- Free access to property information after catastrophic NSW flooding
- Engaging with our staff on their physical and emotional wellbeing
The NSW LRS Environmental, Social & Governance program and our new Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging & Equity (DIBE) strategy guide the organisation to operate sustainably and responsibly for our customers, stakeholders, employees, investors, the environment, our community and the property industry.
In 2022 NSW LRS has again placed first in its specialised industry class (within Data Infrastructure) and 55
th out of 649 global organisations, increasing its score to 96 of a possible 100.
