In our ongoing efforts to improve our services and uplift the quality of our practices we are updating our Privacy Policy. The personal information that we collect from you allows us to provide you and the community better service. This will require collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Why we felt that changes were required:
NSW LRS performs a number of activities in relation to several public Registers and we want to ensure that our privacy policy continues to clearly articulate the management of data relating to those activities. It is also important that NSW LRS customers have a reasonable expectation of the uses and disclosures of personal information collected by NSW LRS as custodian of these Registers.
Summary of changes:
In short, we have generally uplifted the policy to ensure it is clearly expressed and transparent. We have simplified the language and made sure the policy is easier to follow. We have also clarified the data collection points and information supply services provided by NSW LRS.
