From 7 September 2020, an extra twenty-six Real Property Act dealings will be available for lodgment as electronic dealings, without needing to attach a paper form as is the current process under the temporary
COVID-19 residual lodgment (C-19 RL).
NSW LRS CEO, Adam Bennett, said: “NSW LRS continues to make it easier than ever to lodge online through eConveyancing. This means NSW citizens and businesses can conduct property transactions more efficiently online and stay safer during COVID-19.
“We are committed to digital innovation and will continue to work with the Registrar General and ELNOs to facilitate and promote eConveyancing.”
Electronic dealings under the Real Property Act are already successfully used in NSW. The remaining 9.5% of paper transactions (known as ‘residual’ documents) will be made available for lodgment as electronic dealings and released in stages over the coming months.

- Positive Covenant (with Registered Interest Holder Consent)
- Positive Covenant Affecting Land Vested in a Prescribed Authority
- Restriction on the Use of Land
- Restriction on the Use of Land (with Registered Interest Holder Consent)
- Restriction on the Use of Land by Prescribed Authority
- Restriction on the Use of Land by Prescribed Authority (with Registered Interest Holder Consent)
- Restriction on the Use of Land Vested in Prescribed Authority
- Transfer Altering Tenancy (Joint Tenants to Tenants in Common in Equal Shares)
- Transfer Altering Tenancy (Tenants in Common in Equal Shares to Joint Tenants)
- Transfer Creating a Forestry Right
