Deeds Index Particulars – Tips for how to complete this form

  •  In Section (A) the name and address of the lodging party is required. This is used to create the invoice and record contact information.
  • Section (B) the name of the instrument e.g., Power of Attorney. The date of the instrument is also required at (B).
  • Section (C) must be completed for trust deeds and if Old System Land is affected If it does not affect Old System Land please insert n/a. If a document that affects this trust has been previously registered please complete the Principal Deed column with the Book & No otherwise insert n/a in the Principal Deed column. In the Principal Deed Column, any prior registered deeds affecting the principal must be listed e.g., when registering a Revocation of a Power of Attorney if the Power of Attorney is registered this must be stated under Principal Deed 
  • The NOTING section is completed by NSW LRS Staff only.
  • In Section (D) the name of the principal(s) or Trust(s) must be stated. Please include any variations of name e.g. James Smith and Jim Smith
  • Section (E) is a statutory requirement. This must be completed, a street address of the person completing the certificate must be stated.
