NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS) is a private company owned by Australian Registry Investments (ARI), who acquired NSW LRS under a 35 year concession in 2017. ARI is a consortium of leading institutional investors and superannuation funds including: Aware Super, The Infrastructure Fund (TIF), NatWest Group Pension Fund (NWGPF) and UTA Registry Investments Trust (UTA).
Collectively Aware Super, TIF and UTA have exercised their pre-emptive rights to acquire NWGPF’S 20% stake in NSW LRS, effective from 29 April 2024.
NSW LRS operates the land titles registry for the State Government and the citizens and businesses of New South Wales. The land titles registry underpins the state’s secure, efficient and guaranteed system of land ownership.
