Users will be able to access these features from today to help streamline their experience managing plans:
- Pre-allocated Plan Number (PPN) Management function: Update, withdraw, or transfer PPNs directly through NSW LRS Connect with the new PPN Management function. This provides all Registered Surveyors with complete independence and capacity to manage their PPNs as they will no longer be required to contact NSW LRS to request changes. We encourage you to utilise this self-service functionality and benefit from the efficiency and convenience this provides.
- Digital Plan Builder: Optionally create digital plan files as part of the plan lodgment workflow with the integrated CAD translator tool within the Plan Workspace. This section will allow information sourced from the Digital Form Builder to be utilised in the creation of the Digital Plan file as well as allow surveyors to provide preferred parameters and SCIMS data, prior to before submitting the digital file for translation.
- General enhancements to NSW LRS Connect: Updates have been made to the Plan Workspace in preparation for the Surveying and Spatial Information Regulation update scheduled for enforcement in 2025, as well as improvements to the Digital Form Builder such as auto-capitalisation feature.
