Causes, writs and orders of court

Causes, writs and orders of court (CWO Register) legal proceeding, writ or order of court must be registered to be effective.

 

Renewal to have any effect after 5 years from the date of registration must be renewed.

 

Vacation of a legal proceeding etc registered in the CWO Register is the equivalent of a withdrawal or release of an instrument registered in the General Register.

 

Order of court (General Register) is a direction in a proceeding or other matter brought before the Court.

 

Service Status Update

Until December 2018, there will be planned outages for some NSW LRS systems while we undertake essential works. Where possible these works have been scheduled over weekends to minimise disruption to our customers.
