NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS) has recently launched a new Plan Revision Search feature in ePlan, our electronic plan lodgment and validation system.
This free search is available to all ePlan users and enables surveyors to check whether they have the current recorded plans at hand before beginning field work. The search makes it easier for surveyors to know whether they need to order another copy of the plan.
The ePlan Plan Revision Search provides surveyors with the date of the most recent plan image recorded in the NSW LRS Document and Integrated Imaging Management System (DIIMS).
The Search results include:
- A description of the registered documents held with each plan, and
- For each registered document:
- Number of pages
- Page size
- File size, and
- Revision date.
The revision date recorded in DIIMS will generally be a day or two after the plan registration or amendment date.
ePlan users can access the Plan Revision Search via the Utilities tab of ePlan.*

The new Plan Revision Search is just one of the many benefits of using ePlan, which include:
- The ability to lodge plans electronically from anywhere, any time
- Eliminating the risk of lost plans or unauthorised changes to plans
- Responding to and satisfying requisitions online
- Conducting a quality check before plans are lodged
- Tracking a plan’s progress following lodgment, and
- Searching a plan’s lodgment history.
