New regulated customer fees: 1 July 2025

The NSW LRS fees for products and services involving land titles, plans, property information and the Water Access Licence Register are regulated and have changed for the 2025/2026 Financial Year.

Changes to Lodgment Rules require 100% online plan lodgment from 1 July 2025

The NSW Government published the revised Lodgment Rules on NSW Government Gazette that will require all plans to be electronically lodged through NSW LRS Connect from 1 July 2025.

Major changes to strata laws commencing 30 November 2016

The Strata Schemes Development Act 2015 and the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015 (together with their respective Regulations (Strata Schemes Development Regulation 2016 and the Strata Schemes Management Regulation 2016), will commence on 30 November 2016, bringing major reform to the existing strata laws.

Requirements for by-laws for unregistered strata plans prepared prior to 30 November 2016

New strata laws will commence on 30 November 2016. As a result the model by-laws as set out in Strata Schemes Management Regulation 2010 will no longer be available for adoption on plans registered on or after this date.
